It’s that time of year again to celebrate the LGBTQ community… Pride Month! In the 1970’s and 1980’s, LGBTQ individuals and allies celebrated with “Pride Week;” however, due to the abundance of emerging events and activities, Pride grew into an entire month celebrated over June. The events of Pride are celebrated all over the city of Chicago throughout June, but the main hubs are in the Boystown and Andersonville areas.
