Dr. Mary Ross-Newman is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist. She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology with coursework focusing on neuropsychology and psychodynamic interventions. She completed her two-year, postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology. Dr. Ross-Newman also has specialized training in primary care behavioral health and neurofeedback therapy. She has worked with individuals across the lifespan and trained in various settings including psychiatric hospitals, college counseling centers, medical hospitals and community mental health agencies. She uses an integrated, relational approach to conceptualization and treatment to meet individuals where they are so that they may receive the support needed.
Dr. Ross-Newman specializes in comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological assessments with individuals across the lifespan. She uses a systemic approach to understand and integrate all aspects of an individual’s presentation to gain diagnostic clarity and inform personalized treatment recommendations. Dr. Ross-Newman also provides psychotherapeutic services to children, adolescents and adults. An eclectic approach is utilized, as she understands that each individual is unique, with an emphasis on self-psychology and other psychoanalytic interventions
